Dampen your hair well before applying the sulfate-free shampoo, make sure your hair is completely soaked in water because this makes it easier to apply and distribute the product through your hair.

Problem
You would think that you may need more product to wash your hair, this is not correct! Always use the same amount of product as any other regular shampoo. You would expect the Sulfate Free Shampoo to lather and when Sulfate-Free shampoo doesn't lather much on first Shampoo. Although it won't foam much the first time, it still works to clean your hair.
Solution
-During the first Shampoo apply more water, instead of more product- If you are having difficulty getting a lather you want to wash your hair with a sulfate-free shampoo, apply more water instead of more product. The water will help activate the shampoo and spread it through your hair.
- Shampoo twice- The second shampoo really lifts it up and cleanses your hair. You will noticed that the second shampoo lathers more easily and nicely with rich small bubbles.
-Always rinse your hair well- Just as a any regular shampoo make sure you rinse your hair well. Any residue from the sulfate-free shampoo will make your hair feel heavy.
-Finally - Follow up with your favorite conditioner. Comb your conditioner from the middle to the ends, and whatever is left you can use the leftovers in your upper head depending on your hair needs. Then rinse well.
